Living in northeast Ohio means being prepared for all sorts of weather, including rain and snow, and having weather-resistant gear (including an OM-1 and a couple of the PRO lenses) provides great peace of mind. The bigger challenge, as you mentioned in the Alfred Wainwright quote, is making sure I am well-prepared, especially in the winter months. Nothing cuts a photo walk short like being ill-prepared for wind and cold!
